I guess that “oops she did it again” won’t even start to cover this one up.  The “princess of pop” or whatever she is called really looks like she is on the verge of a total breakdown.  Over the last few days, Brit has been in and out of rehab in Antigua (she lasted about an hour, apparently) and then flew back to LA and sheared all her hair off.  She also got a couple of tattoos.

Well, yes, here it is… quite possibly the biggest single event on TV this year (although American Idol is pushing hard on it), it’s super bowl weekend. I gotta say, those Apple vs PC ads are great.  It is the first time since Apple came out that they are “facing the boogie man” and really putting the presure on the PC market to come and try out an Apple computer.  More power to them.

For me, the best part is that they have done a couple of great things with this campaign.  First off, they are fighting with a foe that won’t fight back, because the PC industry is large, and has no one leader.  Heck, Apple uses intel chips, so it isn’t like Intel is going to take the other side, and Microsoft, well… they have a huge percentage of the total PC market and have no reason to fight back… plus they don’t sell hardware.

The other things they have done is remove the discussion of price.  Apple computers typically price out higher than a PC based laptop, and the PC laptop market has many choices of brands, configurations, and setup.  Apple goes on about their included things like cameras and such (most recent commercials), not realizing that again, PC owners have plenty of money left and many choices in the marketplace.

Like I said, these ads are totally amazing… Apple is fighting a ghost, and looking all tough while doing it.  Sort of like beating up a straw man.

Well, 2007 is upon us, and I am already hard at work.  I made a bit of an update in design and layout for All Porn Links, so now the fresh new sites are right on page one and easy to find.  I had a number of people ask for it, so I figured I would give it a shot and see.  I hadn’t updated the layout or design for quite a while, so it’s all good as far as I can tell.

I also got me some new toys to play with, including Autobloggerpro (kewl tool) and a new color and layout tool.  Just waiting for my very good hosting company (Colo-cation hosting) to get a few little doo-dahs installed to make this all run, and I will be off to the races.  For the most part, this will mean I will have a bunch more great blogs and daily things to post around for everyone to enjoy, which is a good thing.  Stay Tuned!

Just like many others, I guess I am due a year ender post.  It’s only the 28th, but considering my current posting rate here, I better do it now, right?

Anyway, 2006 has been an interesting year for me.  As I was born in the year of the dragon, most of 2006 has been made difficult because this is the year of the dog (until early February, dammit!). Dogs are the only sign that scares dragons, and dog years are usually pretty tough on dragons (and I know a couple, and we all have the same results this year).  However, like a boxer that loses a couple of rounds in a long fight, I am getting my strength and energy back and after a little more rope-a-dope, I will be back swinging.
