War, the movie that is.  Jet Li and Jason Stratham, and for your asian girl fans, the unique looking Damon Aoki, daughter of Bennihana restuarant chain founder Rocky Aoki.   I mention her mostly because she turns out to be the only decently hot asian girl in a movie full of asian men.   The movie overall is interesting, although Jet Li looks a little like he mailed this one in from vacation.  Also, no matter what the trailers and move posters would suggest, the War aspect of the movie isn’t between Li and Stratham, which may disappoint some.   In Canada, the movie is rated 13 plus for violence, and they aren’t kidding.  The girl sitting next to me flinched about 5 times, and at one time was pointedly looking somewhere else to avoid the on screen action.  The gore isn’t on screen long, but they aren’t shy to show how people are fatally wounded.

With the summer coming to a very quick end, the back to school and back to work rush is on.  New computers are the order of the day for many people, and laptops have become so powerful that now more than 35% of all new computers sold are laptops.   That is a huge shift.   With the end of summer comes all sort of new and updated things on the net, from the redesign of CNN to new sites and programs coming along.  The next few weeks will be busy.

The new version of wordpress 2.2.2 is certainly an upgrade, but like it always seems to turn out, the upgrade also killed off a few things and made other things work differently.  It is frustrating, but I guess that is what we all get for depending on freeware.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch… it’s Friday and I am working on a fairly major redesign for my link site Findpics Free Porn.  I have run this link site since 1998, and about every two years I give it a good going over.  With all the changes towards Web2.0 style design and such, I figured now would be a good time to bring the design of findpics out of the 1990’s and up to current spec.  It is interesting to learn more CSS and to extend my PHP programming skills, plus I always learn more about database management and stuff.  It’s all good, and I am sure you will enjoy the end results… more news soon. I love the month of August. I have been doing online stuff for about 10 years now, and August for me is always the sign of the start of a new year. Basically, what happens is that during the summer, everyone is outside, playing, kids are home from school, and web usage drops a fair bit. The dreaded summer slowdown, where everything sort of goes quiet. But as we get to august, the new sites start coming out, my friends reveal their latest projects, and everything sort of comes back to life. By the 15th of September, the web is back to it’s crazy, busy, wild self as everyone gets back to the normal grid. Another year in the online entertainment buisness starts!

This week I have been working on a few new things. First off is a new web 2.0 style TGP called Totally Free Porn. There is nothing but a front page with 25 galleries on it right now, but I would say visit and bookmark the site because by the time I am done, this one is going to be huge! I like the layout with the titles and info on the galleries, I think it helps everyone to actually click on things the are interested in rather than just randomly clicking on thumbs until you find something. Plus you get to see the category and in the long run also the number of clicks on the gallery, which will help you find which ones are hot.

Also, some big updates as Super XXX Links, I have been adding info on more and more HD video sites, which are really the big deal this year. Nice widescreen movies that play very well full screen on your PC. If you are going to buy porn, at least buy quality porn, right?
